The advantages of aluminium pipes from INOAC

For more than 8 years, INOAC insulated aluminium pipes in combination with the INOAC Conic Joint have been used for the installation of air conditioners. To date, no leaks or other major problems have occurred and this in more than 2.5 million air conditioning units !

Using aluminium refrigerant tubes has 2 major advantages. The first is that they are one-third the weight of copper, making them easier to carry and handle during installation. The second advantage is the lower material price of aluminium. The copper price on the LME is around US$ 10,000/ton, while the price of aluminium at US$ 2,500/ton is about a quarter of that price. Forecasts indicate that the copper price will rise to US $12,000/ton around the end of the year, and the cost advantages are expected to be even greater in the future.
